Our mission is to improve the quality
of end-of-life care, respecting individual differences and promoting
self-empowerment through education and information.
As advocates for quality end-of-life care, The Central Virginia
Coalition for Quality End-of-Life Care collaborates with other community
organizations.
The coalition believes that dignity should
be maintained through dying as well as living.
Values we embrace are: cooperation, self-awareness, honesty, responsibility,
altruism, and reverence.
The purpose is to enhance the quality
of life for those facing life threatening illnesses, the dying,
and their families and caregivers.
We recognize that those choosing to plan ahead or those facing
difficult end-of-life decisions may not know that there are many
resources available. Our contribution is to provide this comprehensive
information on end-of-life organizations and services in the greater
Richmond and surrounding areas.
